Head of Development
Veronica Saluzzi is a veteran development executive and innovative content creator with over a decade of experience producing award-winning content for Canadian and international network partners including Netflix, Food Network, BBCA, Discovery Canada and CBC.
As Head of Development at FORTÉ ENTERTAINMENT, Veronica creates and shepherds a wide variety of original concepts from script to screen. She oversees an extensive and diverse slate of scripted and unscripted projects, collaborates with various creatives and sought-after talent while seeking strategic partnership opportunities.
Saluzzi comes to FORTÉ from her recent tenure as Senior Development Producer at Boat Rocker Media where she created and oversaw the development of international unscripted formats including Late Nite Eats (Cooking Channel). In her decade with Boat Rocker, Saluzzi was part of the development team behind a range of scripted and factual productions, including Emmy-Award winning drama Orphan Black (Space, BBC America), Canadian Screen Award winning The Next Step (CBBC, Family Channel), hit format adaptation Say Yes to the Dress: Northern Edition (W, TLC) and Atomic Award winning Recipe to Riches (Food Network Canada, CBC). Additionally, Saluzzi’s production credits include Million Dollar Critic (BBCA, W), Over the Rainbow (CBC) as well as select work on feature films, advertising campaigns and multiplatform projects.
Veronica is a creative force when it comes to content creation and when she’s not developing exciting new TV shows she’s busy wrangling (aka pampering) her painfully cute mini-goldendoodle, the most demanding celebrity she’s ever had to work with.
